On February 9th, 2017, Marco Della Gala gave a seminar titled ‘Business models and ICT supporting the development of local agrofood and tourism systems’ at the Community and Countryside Research Institute. The seminar was part of The CCRI seminars series and was oriented to explore innovative organizational models in the local agro-food and tourism systems. The innovative organizational models where studied under a Collaborative Networks perspective and highlighting the Knowledge exchange among networked partners. The presentation was divided in two parts. In the first part Marco illustrated how situated learning opportunities are important in Alternative Agro-Food Networks (AAFNs) and how mobile application might augment and extend situated learning opportunities in AAFN. The presentation reported results from a review of mobile apps oriented to AAFNs too. In the second part of the presentation the focus was givet to innovative Collaborative Networks in the tourism sector, a model of tourism 2.0 was presented. Moreover, Marco presented how the adoption of ICTs could foster the rise of different levels of collaboration among actors operating in a tourism destination to satisfy the needs of the tourist 2,0
